I’m originally from Indiana/Iowa/Arizona/West Virginia/Arizona, so obviously I’m a transplant to Aussieland from 1995.
I write in different genres. My first published novel, On A Life’s Edge, is contemporary women’s fiction. My latest book was a joint effort: Lost Anchors. Both of these are the first in a series. So if you like human interest stories or mysteries, take your pick. As well as more about Shawna in the “On A Life” series, I have more mysteries for Dr. Sadhu Singh and Detective Taylor Franke to solve in Australia, a midwest US novel about teenagers coming of age in the 1970s, and a few sci-fi in the works as well. Look for these in the months to come. I love to play with stories that explore places I’ve been and the sorts of people and situations I’ve known.
If you’d like to write to me: jwhit-at-janwhitaker-dot-com should find its way to me (adjusted with the right symbols of course).
